Yep, It's that time...

The requests are in early this year but it's time for me to start thinking about my Christmas additions to the Etsy site. This year I'm making stockings! So of course I'm off to the web for some inspiration on my own designs...

I love this simple silhouette and fun colors on these stockings from Purlbee.

I've eyed these stockings for years! I think Neimans online even had them last year. From Garnethill.com

Fall Decorating

I know it is still summer but it's time to start thinking about Fall decorating. Especially since MANY super-cute, personalized, fall items have a little lead time. Here are a few favorites I found today!

Get The Look! Suzanni Fabrics

I usually get roughly a million emails a day from online stores with new arrivals, daily deals and discounts. Usually unless the headline grabs me, it ends up in the trash folder before it gets opened.

This weekend though I opened a Horchow email (of course) and look what I found!

This beautiful Suzanni bench fabric looks very similar (if not the same) as some pillows I've been crafting via my Etsy shop.

Displaying Favorites

As I work on decorating our new small space, I've been forced to pair down the amount of frames and artwork on display. Looking to the web to find some interesting new solutions for the few walls I have. Here are a couple that I have created so far...

In my last house, these picture ledges had only the simple, sleek, painted Pottery Barn frames in grey and turquoise. Similar ones can be found here. Now I've mixed some of my other favorite frames onto the ledges. I kept the color scheme of grey, silver and turquoise and all the photos black and white. I love the ledges because I have fewer cabinets and dressers to clutter up with photos.

Since this house will soon go on the market again, I've tried this display with some pictures leaning. I don't want to poke too many holes in the walls. Next home owner: You're welcome :)

You can also see from the pictures that I'm mildly obsessed with my son!
